Terms of service
These terms govern the use of Tipiro by companies that open a workspace, by the agents whose tips go through it, and by the customers who leave a tip.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
The service
Tipiro (tipiro.com) is operated by Mazlabs, a company established in France. Tipiro gives each agent a tip page, collects customers' tips through Stripe, pays them out to the company or to the agent depending on the plan, and gives the company a dashboard and payroll exports.
Tipiro is neither a payment institution nor a payroll provider. Payments are executed by Stripe; how tips are handled in payroll remains the company's responsibility.
Opening a workspace
A workspace is created by someone entitled to bind the company, with a Google work account or an invitation. They become its administrator and can invite their team. The company is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, for how the accounts in its workspace are used, and for keeping access credentials confidential.
To receive payouts, the company (or each agent, depending on the plan) must accept Stripe's connected account agreement and provide the information Stripe requires.
Tips and fees
- A tip is a voluntary gift from the customer. It does not entitle the customer to any additional service and is not refundable, except for a manifest error reported to [email protected] within 14 days.
- Tipiro charges a 5% platform fee on each tip, shown to the customer before paying, plus Stripe's processing fees. The customer may choose to cover the fees so that the agent receives 100% of the amount.
- Amounts are capped per tip. Tipiro may refuse or cancel a payment that looks suspicious or breaches Stripe's rules.
The company's obligations
- Only enrol agents who know their tip page exists and what it shares (name, job title, photo).
- Handle tips in payroll in line with the applicable rules; the net estimates shown by Tipiro are indicative and do not replace the advice of a payroll or tax professional.
- Not use Tipiro to collect payments that are not customer tips, nor to circumvent compensation rules.
Availability and liability
Tipiro is provided "as is", with a high availability target but no guarantee of uninterrupted service. Our liability towards the company is limited, for all claims combined, to the platform fees collected over the previous twelve months. We are not liable for payroll decisions made from the information the service provides, nor for the acts of Stripe or of banks.
Personal data
How data is processed is described in the privacy policy. For customers' and agents' data, Tipiro acts as the company's processor; a data processing agreement is available on request.
Term and termination
The workspace is open for an indefinite term. The company may close it at any time from the dashboard or by email; Tipiro may suspend or close a workspace for a breach of these terms, fraud, or a requirement from Stripe, with reasonable notice except in urgent cases. Tips already collected are paid out as usual.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute goes to the competent courts of Bordeaux, France, after an attempt at amicable resolution. Questions: [email protected].
